Yumi Ohashi

Yumi Ohashi is the Japan Liaison for ICANN. Previously she held the position of International & Government Relations Manager at JPRS (Japan Registry Services Co., Ltd.), and the Secretary of the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association, APTLD. [1] She was appointed as the Board Director of APTLD in 2002, and was reappointed as the Vice Chair for Membership in 2005. [2]

Yumi Ohashi had been the liaison in the international affairs field of JPNIC since 1997. Since she moved to JPRS in 2001, she has been working in the development and management of the .jp TLD with JPNIC, ICANN, and the Government of Japan; which resulted in the creation of the Sponsorship Agreement between JPRS and ICANN.
