Career History
FAST National University (2014+)
As a Lab Engineer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST National University [2], Ihtisham conducted labs regarding Wireless & Mobile Communication, Telecommunication Systems, Next Generation Networks, Data Communication & Networks & Signals & Systems. He is active in the telecom and networks area and is focusing on implementing cutting-edge technology and experimentation in subject fields. He actively participates in workshops, conferences, webinars, forums, NextGen program so as to live in line and pace himself with the day-to-day changing world. Moreover, Ihtisham is also active in ICT certifications and training and currently being part of Huawei Approved Learning Partner (HALP) as lab Instructor for Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) in the field of Unified Communication (UC).
Involvement in ICANN
1: Khalid was part of ICANN 55 International Public meeting in Marrakech, Morocco as a NextGen Fellow.
2: Khalid returned to ICANN 57 International Public meeting in Hyderabad, India as a NextGen Ambassador.
Internet Governance Involvement
Khalid was part of the 1st Pakistan School on Internet Governance (pkSIG) in Oct 2015
Khalid was part of the pkSIG Secretariat for pkSIG 2016
Education
Ihtisham received a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering degree from FAST National University Islamabad Pakistan in 2014, where he majored in the Telecommunication stream.
