Open Knowledge Brasil (OKBR), also known as Rede pelo Conhecimento Livre, is the chapter of Open Knowledge Internacional in Brazil. It is a non-profit and non-partisan Civil Society Organization (CSO), governed by a statute, decided in an assembly held on September 4, 2013, being notarized on October 3, 2013.

They use and develop civic tools, projects, public policy analysis, data journalism and we promote free knowledge in the various fields of society. In the political sphere, we seek to make the relationship between government and society closer and more transparent.
