Amina currently works at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), which is the telecoms regulatory body for Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Science in Project Management. Amina is a fellow of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, Nigeria, West Africa and Africa Schools of Internet Governance.
She is hopeful of a Nigeria that is an active nation in a world marked by rapid technological advancements. For this reason, her career goal is to promote a more inclusive tech space in Nigeria, empowering girls and young women to become change-makers in the tech industry, but are restricted due to gender limitations and lack of awareness.
Amina volunteers with platforms that focus on inclusion of women in ICT such as Women in Cybersecurity, Nigeria Affiliate where she is currently the Vice President Events and Programs and an active member of RIFEN, which is an internationally recognized NGO that works to achieve the promotion of girls and women in ICT.
