Hisham Ibrahim is currently a IPv6 programmer at AfriNIC and part of the IPv6 Task Force from Egypt. According to the news published in November 2010, the IPv6 development is in "mode crisis" and "adoption stage". Developing IPv6 should be viewed as an opportunity even if the associated costs are increasing. [1]

Likewise, Hisham Ibrahim also sustained various presentations related to the Egyptian IPv6 Task Force related to Optimizing 802.11 networks for IPv6 Mobility & Testing VOIPv6 and Video applications over them. In this way, he is also part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). [2]
