Ghislain de Salins is a policy advisor specialized in the digital economy and Internet governance.

Career[edit | edit source]

Ghislain represents the French Ministry of Economy in international negotiations related to the digital economy. Prior to his current position, he worked at the Embassy of France in the United States, in Washington, DC, as the digital economy attache.

ICANN Involvement[edit | edit source]

Ghislain is the French representative in the Governmental Advisory Committee.

He also serves as vice-chairman of the GAC for the 2016-2017 period.

At 29, he was the youngest GAC member to be elected to the leadership team.

Involvement in Internet Governance[edit | edit source]

Ghislain also represents France in various international fora such as ITU, IGF, the WSIS process and OECD.

Education[edit | edit source]

Ghislain graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences-Po Paris) with a Master in Economics and Public Policy. He also studied international relations and law at King's College London.
