Omar Kaminski is the President at Instituto Brasileiro de Direito da Informática (IBDI)[1], repesenting IBDI at LACRALO.[2] He is also a Lawyer at Kaminski.adv.br and the Legal Advisor for Security Incident Response Team at RNP.
Kaminski is an Alternate Member at the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br).[3] He is a member of the Whois Policy Review Team at ICANN and has attended the ICANN Silicon Valley.[4]
Omar has signed a Joint Civil Society Statement Supporting the Proposed Charter for the Non-Commercial Stakeholders Group (NCSG), which was Submitted by the Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) of ICANN.[5]
Omar has made a presentation on Cybercrimes and the Brazilian Law at the 2nd COLARIS in 2006.[6] He has also contributed to LatinoamerICANN's Counsel Magazine.[7]
