Ron Sherwood has been a trustee of NIC.VI since the ccTLD was established in 1999.

Participations

Ron has attended ICANN Meetings in Silicon Valley, Nairobi, Seoul, and elsewhere. He has also been very active within the ccNSO, as a ccNSO liaison and observer of the ALAC. He joined the ccNSO when it started in 2001, and has been its ALAC liaison since 2008. He has participated in ccTLD name server training in Shanghai, and ICANN meetings in 2002 and 2003 that deal specifically with ccTLD related issues.

Country Code Names Supporting Organization. Develops and recommends to the Board global policies relating to country-code top-level domains (ICANN Bylaws).

At-Large Advisory Committee. Considers and provides advice on the activities of ICANN related to the interests of individual Internet users (ICANN Bylaws). Not to be confused with the Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group.
