Mr. Berranger describes himself as "actively retired" and has recently conducted assignments for Expedia in Mexico, Microsoft, Fundacion Omar Dengo and Fundacion CRUSA in Costa Rica, UNDP in Egypt and Vietnam, Fundacion Chasquinet in Ecuador. He conducts training in strategic partnering and resource mobilization for civil society, foundations, government and development agencies.[1]

Career History

Mr. Berranger was the Vice Chair of the Executive Committee at Global Knowledge Partnership foundation from 2009 to 2011. He has also served as the Vice Chair at the Canadian Foundation for the Americas for 2 years,[2] and was the Director of Partnerships and Business Development for the International Development Research Center of the Canadian Government from 1996 to 2006. After completing his bachelors, he joined Noranda and has also worked for Touche Ross Daihatsu, Tecsult, as well as for Dominion Bridge.[3][4]

Alain Berranger has been listed in Who's Who in Canada since 2000.

Education

He holds an MBA and a B.Eng in Metallurgy from McGill University.
