.reisen, "travel" in German, is a proposed TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The applicant is Donuts (New Cypress, LLC). A similar string, .reise, was applied for by dotreise GmbH.

Representatives of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland issued a joint GAC Early Warning against both .reise and .reisen. The warning system is noted as a strong recommendation on behalf of national governments to the ICANN Board that a given TLD application should be denied as it stands. Applicants are encouraged to work with objecting GAC members.

The warning states that it is their belief that .reise and .reisen should be put in a contention set and considered together, and that the applicant should restrict the TLD to entities legitimately involved in the tourism industry.
