Savenaca Vocea

Savenaca (Save) Vocea is the Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement for Australasia and the Pacific Islands at ICANN.[1][2]

In November 2012, he was promoted from Manager of Regional Relations with Australasia/Pacific Islands to his current position, which reports to Sally Costerton and is part of CEO Fadi Chehadé's goal to expand ICANN outreach and involvement to the developing world and improve the international makeup of the organization.[3]

Career History

Vocea joined ICANN in October 2006. He promotes ICANN in the Oceania region by engaging with various Internet stakeholder groups through information sharing, regional representation, and participation, as they relate to ICANN's respective responsibilities.[4] Before he joined ICANN, he served as the Policy Development Manager as well as the Liaison (Pacific) at the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC). He has also worked as the manager for the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA).[5]
