"The Applicant is an internationally recognized investment company established in 1974 and has been operating under the “Temasek” brand. The gTLD will allow the building of an online platform, identified with the “Temasek” brand, for the Applicant to reach out to its local and international stakeholders, which include, but are not limited to:

Bond holders and potential bond holders; Business partners and potential business partners; Portfolio and investee companies and potential investee companies; Governments and regulators Ratings agencies Temasek’s non-profit philanthropic organisations and their beneficiaries Employees and Potential employees Interested members of the public

The gTLD will be used as an undisputed “Temasek” channel to provide stakeholders with information on the Applicant, which includes, but is not limited to:

Temasek’s corporate profile Temasek’s financial and portfolio performance Media releases issued by Temasek Information on Temasek’s bonds, including offering circulars, ratings reports and other essential information that is provided to investors Contact information of Temasek’s Singapore and overseas offices Information on career opportunities with Temasek

As the owner of the gTLD, the Registry will put in place proper policies to administer domain name registrations, and determine strict eligibility requirements for domain name registrants in the gTLD.

The Registry shall at all times exercise control over each and any domain name applied for and registered under the .TEMASEK gTLD. The Applicant reserves the right to impose additional and other restrictions from time to time at its sole discretion. All registrations of domain names under the .TEMASEK gTLD shall be subject to the Applicant’s consent."[2]
