Barrack Otieno is the Administrative Manager of AfTLD, a non-profit interested in the organization of the .africa and .afrique gTLDs. He represents African ccTLDs in regional and global meetings to provide capacity-building opportunities for them, and has worked at the organization since October 2011. [1][2]

He is also an Administrative Manager at Afriregister Limited, where he helps with HR management and the implementation of business strategies and ICT policies. He is also a Project Manager at Project Discovery Kenya, a community-based organization that promotes the internet as a tool for social and economic transformation.[2]

Otieno's involvement with ICANN includes ccNSO participation and being the ISOC President for the Kenya Chapter.[1]

He is also a member of the Steering Committee, which was established to provide leadership and oversight for the application and launch process for the .africa TLD, as a representative for AfTLD and Kenya.
