.fit is an active TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. Minds + Machines manages the TLD and is its Registry. The proposed application succeeded and was delegated to the Root Zone on 06 January, 2015.[1]. General Availability, (on a first come, first serve basis) for the TLD begins 29 April 2015. [2]

Famous Four Media withdrew it application in June 2013, due to a partnership and revenue-sharing model between itself and TLDH.[4][5]
