Amanda Fessenden is currently Director, GDD Services[1] at ICANN org within the Global Domains Division (GDD) Accounts and Services team. She's been with ICANN since 2016 and previously worked on the Registry Services and Engagement team.[2] Before joining ICANN, Amanda was the Director of Industry Relations at Uniregistry from 2011-2016 where she helped launch over 20 new gTLDs, was the primary liaison to registrars, and worked in business development and marketing.[2]

Career History

Before joining the domain name industry, Amanda was a Research Associate at a consulting firm called ClearView Energy Partners in Washington, D.C. She has also spent time teaching and studying in France.[2] From 2009-2010, she was a Staff Assistant in the Chairman's Office at the National Endowment for the Arts. She has also done an internship at the United States Senate.[3]

Education

Amanda graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in International Relations and French Language and Literature. She is fluent in French, plays cello, and loves to run.
