Clarke Walton is an advocate for the ICANN Registrar Constituency. Clarke is responsible for leading discussions among RC members on a wide range of ICANN policy issues and drafting position papers that convey the collective views of the RC for consideration by the ICANN community.

In addition to his responsibilities on behalf of the RC, Clarke also manages an active Internet law practice, where he advises domain name registrars, registrants, and other Internet businesses on cutting-edge Internet legal issues ranging from online regulatory compliance to domain name disputes.

Career History

Clarke has served as an expert witness in search engine-related trademark litigation and his academic interests are focused on the relationship between domain names, search engines, and trademark law.

  • Prior to founding Walton Law Firm, Clarke was an executive at one of the original search engine optimization and marketing firms, based in Southern California.
  • He is the founder of All Vegas Poker, MyTrademarkRegistration.com, and co-founder of Searke Ventures, and JoDug.com.
