Denise Michel works with the Domain Name System Strategy & Management Team for Facebook.[1] Until October 2015, she was an Advisor to the CEO of ICANN, prior to which she was the Vice President of Policy Development at ICANN.[2]

Career History

Before becoming the Vice-President of Policy Development, she worked at ICANN for five years as a consultant and an Executive Director.[3] Michel was hired by President Bill Clinton to serve as the Senior Policy Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. During her tenure, she played an important role in Internet development. She also co-founded a technology company in 1995.[4]
