James Wood is the Senior Director, Strategic Communications & Media Relations at ISOC. Wood plans and implements ISOC's global communications strategy and organises participation across a range of issues and topics--directing ISOC communication around ICANN-related outputs.

Outside of ICANN, Wood is involved in ISOC – Internet Society and IETF – Internet Engineering Task Force.

Personal Background

Wood has a BA Hons in French and French Literature, from the University of East Anglia. An MA Arabic and Islamic Arts, SOAS, University of London and more than 15 years experience in technology and Internet-related public relations work.

He considers himself an Italophile.
