Fiorellabelciu
Fiorella Belciu is a young professional in the field of online safety and digital skills, based in Brussels. After her degree in Political Science at the University of Bucharest, she continued her studies in International Relations, European law and Public administration in Spain and Italy. Before moving to Brussels, Fiorella has been actively collaborating in various professional programs with UNDP, the diplomatic environment, think tanks and international non-profit organisations. In Brussels, she has been working also in the field of Internet Governance: after a traineeship at the European Commission, she started working at European Schoolnet, an international non-profit organisation working on innovation in education. The main projects Fiorella has been working on relate to Internet Governance especially in the focus areas of children and young people, who represent a high number of Internet end-users, and for whom the proper digital literacy and skills are essential from an early age. Fiorella was selected as ICANN fellow for the ICANN58 Public Meeting - Fellowship Program and she is confident in the upcoming opportunities that will arise from this meeting.
