Barbara Mittleman Chief Strategy Officer at WayMark Systems. WayMark Systems maps stakeholders and their engagement, needs, resources, and progress in multi-stakeholder arrangements such as ICANN. Mittleman started and ran the US NIH (National Institutes of Health) Public-Private Partnership Program from 2006-2013, and has studied and published on multi-stakeholder engagements and their characteristics, and is now working with academic colleagues to move this work into a mapping and consulting company.

Mittleman is also concerned with issues such as access, fairness, ethics, confidentiality and security, which she considers critically important. She wishes to contribute her perspective, skills, and experience to making this as safe and robust a tool as possible.[1]
