ICANN 56 is being held from June 27-30, 2016 in Helsinki, Finland at the Finlandia Hall Ltd. It is the second ICANN Meeting of 2016, which according to ICANN's new meeting strategy, will be largely policy driven. The meeting was initially scheduled to take place in Panama City, Panama in June 2016, but as a result of an outbreak of the Zika virus in Central America, ICANN announced that the meeting would move to a different country. ICANN plans on returning to Panama City for a future meeting.

The conference will be Göran Marby's first ICANN conference as CEO and President. (Full Conference Guide...)
