Sarata Omane is the Business Development Manager at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE).

She is part of a team committed to using opportunities that exist within the organisation and innovations globally to bring about accelerated growth generally towards the achievement of the organisational goals.

She is currently the manager for the International Computer Driving Licence ( ICDL), an internationally recognized end-user certification programme run at the centre with its presence in over 150 countries.

In the last four years with AITI-KACE, Sarata has been involved in managing, marketing, organising and coordinating AITI-KACE activities. She has,among other achievements, successfully coordinated and organised Technology Transformation Seminars and IT training programmes on different topics for targeted individuals and corporate bodies in Ghana. She is the main brain behind the Open day for Senior High Schools programme which introduces the students to coding, scratch, online safety and brain games. Sarata Plays varied supporting roles to the Business Development Unit and she is a member of the consultancy team

She is currently managing the Girls Can Code project in collaboration with UNESCO and Ghana Education Service to train 300 girls in coding and leadership skills

Passionate in developing women and entrepreneurs interest in IT.
