The Country Code Policy Development Process (PDP) was initiated by the ccNSO in June 2005, in response to correspondence from CENTR that addressed impediments within the ICANN Bylaws that were preventing CENTR's members from considering membership in the ccNSO.[1]

Country Code Names Supporting Organization. Develops and recommends to the Board global policies relating to country-code top-level domains (ICANN Bylaws).
