The Country Code Policy Development Process (PDP) was initiated by the ccNSO in June 2005, in response to correspondence from CENTR[1] that addressed issues with the ccNSO as conceived within the ICANN Bylaws that were preventing CENTR's members from considering membership in the ccNSO.[2][3] Despite its name, this first ccNSO PDP was broadly focused on the supporting organization's structure, procedures, and mission.[3]
