Ruzamri Ruwandi has been serving the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission since 2012. He is currently heading the Numbering and Electronic Addressing Management Department (NEAMD). Among his main functions are developing policies, frameworks, and standards concerning policy, management aspects of numbering assignments, and internet governance including the regulation of “.my” country code top-level domain name (ccTLD) according to provisions under the relevant legislation. Prior to this, he was the Head of the Network Security Management Department (NSMD), which develop policies and oversees the critical national information infrastructure for communications and multimedia industries in Malaysia.

He was part of CyberSecurity Malaysia from January 2008 until February 2012 mainly as a national secretariat for the execution and implementation of the National Cyber Security Policy (NCSP). He was entrusted with ensuring that Malaysia’s Critical National Information Infrastructure is secure, resilient, and self-reliant.
