Hakan Ali co-founded InterNetX GmbH with Curd Bems in 1998. The growth of InterNetX was strongly influenced by Mr. Ali's creative spirit and entrepreneurial drive; he paved the way for the company to rise from a regional startup to a worldwide operating registrar. He has also been the Sales and Marketing Manager at Schlund Technologies since 2004.[1]
He attended ICANN Cartagena, where InterNetX was a Silver Sponsor.[2]

Ali studied at the Städtische Berufsschule II Regensburg from 1989 until 1991.[3]
