Ashish Modi is Country Head- Corporate Affairs at Data Xgen Technologies Pvt Ltd. He is also a member of UASG.TECH. He deals with all the State, Central Governments, and Embassies in India for the promotion and use of Linguistic Based Email Addresses & IDNs to connect the next billion people online. He works for Bridging the Digital Divide by removing the language barrier in the world of the Internet.

Career History

Ashish Modi has a vast experience of more than a decade now working at various levels at different organizations. He has been with the Confederation of Indian Industry for a long time looking at the Policy Work. Mr. Modi has also worked with the World Trade Centre in the field of connecting Exporters and Importers across the borders.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation

Ashish Modi is the UA Ambassador to India. He has been selected by Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG), supported by ICANN to represent the Asia Pacific as Ambassador of UA and spread and create awareness about the objective that all the Domains should be treated equally. He has been a speaker at various National and International conferences such as APRIGF 2017, THNIC 30, and others. He is seen very actively participating in various government forums also to spread the use of the multilingual Internet such as Rajbhasha (Department of Official Language, India).

Ashish Modi is an MBA from Chetana's Institute of Management, Mumbai, India. He has also done M.COM and B.COM
