Jonathan Shea is Chief Executive Officer at Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Ltd.[1] He was an ICANN participant representing HKIRC for five years (2004-2009).[2] HKIRC is a non-profit organization by the Government of the HKSAR for registration of the Internet domain names ending with .hk and .香港.[3][4]

Career History
Jonathan has 20+ years of experience in IT, telecom and Internet industries. He started his career as an electronic and telecommunications engineer. Jonathan has excelled in technological development of data networking and the Internet.[6]
Back in 2001 Jonathan joined CLP Telecom and worked there as Chief Technology Officer for one year. He participated in ICANN for 5 years from 2004 to 2009. He remained board member of APTLD for four years from 2007 to 2011. He is currently serving as CEO of HKIRC,[7] which has grown rapidly after he took charge as CEO in 2002. [8]
