Sotelma is Mali telecommunication company. It provides local, international and mobile telephony services as well as internet facilities. It is the official registrar for .ml domain names.[1] As a mobile operator Sotelma is second in the lead, ikatel being the first.[2]

Privatization
Its privatization started in 2008 by the government of Mali. The shares are divided as:
- 51% for The Moroccan telecommunications group.[3]
- 20% retained by the government.
- 10% for to employees.
- 19% sold by public offer.
