Maria Häll is the Vice chair at ICANN GAC. She is also the Deputy Director at Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications at Government offices of Sweden.[1][2] Mr. Hall is also the Sweden GAC representative.
She has a lot of experience of working with ICT and Internet Policy issues, both in private and public sector.[3] Ms.Maria is co-chair of the RIPE Cooperation Working Group.[4]

Career History
From 2006-2008, she was the Special Advisor for Government Offices of Sweden, where she maintained external networks, contacted with the market and was responsible for processes related to development of broadband, specifically related to robustness. Prior to that, Ms. Hall was the Administrative manager Government IT Policy Strategy Group and before that Political advisor for minister Ulrica Messing of Government Offices of Sweden.
She was the IT-Strategist at The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions for three years, from 2000. She has also been Project manager of GavleNet, Optical Fiber City Network of Gävle Gävle Energy Company and IT-coordinator at City of Sandviken.[6]
