John Frank E. was born on November 24, 1973 in the city of Miami, Florida, USA. Coming from a Colombian family, shortly after he was born, he was taken to Colombia. His first years of life were in the City of Barranquilla, a beautiful coastal city. There he attended elementary school and then moved to the city of Bogotá where he finished high school.

The student life of JFE passed to the next step, and began his professional preparation, but this time in a different scene, decided to move again to Miami, and to study Business Administration obtaining a title in the Prestigious University of Miami in Coral Gables. And it was here, in the city of Miami, where his dreams and aspirations began to grow. Once he obtained his university title he decided to return to Colombia. During his time at the University of Miami, Esmeral had the opportunity to do an internship at MTV Latino, and this was how his interest in music and television started.

John F Esmeral interest in the musical world began to grow,In 1996, and made his first forays as an organizer and producer in the festival ‘Rock Al Parque’ – the largest open-air festival in Latin America and third worldwide. And it was there that he met the members of the Chilean Rock Funk band known as the ‘Chancho en Piedra’ from Chile, who had a contract with the traditional Chilean label Alerce and later sold it to Sony Music.
