Amie Njie studied Bsc Information Systems at the University of the Gambia with great passion for computing , Girls in ICT empowerment and Internet development. She works as Web Developer at Xanda Ltd. Amie enjoyed volunteering her time to support many local ICT initiatives during her days at University and after. She now serves as the treasurer of ISOC Gambia since last August 2016. Amie learned about ICANN through Internet Society Gambia Chapter also As a young Internet engineering enthusiast and developer, she hopes to develop her understanding of the domain name industry and the engineering involved.
