Blaise Arbouet is an IT professional with over 15 years. He holds two degrees from ESIH (Ecole Superieure d’Infotronique d’Haiti) and the University of Montreal with specialization in IT Infrastructure, cybersecurity and networks security.

Mr Arbouet started to travel internationally in 1998 when he represented the Haitian national team in Guadeloupe for a coding contest called “Netdays in the Islands”.

Since that day, he travelled frequently to participate in different summits and conferences related to ICT4D, Internet Governance, ICANN’s Public meeting, SSIG, INCIBE Cyber Bootcamp, etc.

For the past 5 years, he is focused on projects related to cyberspace and specifically in the Caribbean region.

Mr Arbouet’s dream as many others is to see Haiti embrace the usage of ICT as an engine for economical development.
