Davor Sostaric is the secretary at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Directorate for Information Society, Slovenia.[1]
He is also the Slovenian accredited representative in the European Group for Policy Coordination for Academic and Industrial Research Networking (ENPG), ICANN’s GAC[2], European Commission’s High Level Group on Internet Governance (HLIG); and, on behalf of the Presidency of EU, a member of Multistakeholder Advisory Group for the United Nations' Internet Governance Forum, IGF. He is an active promotor of IPv6 deployment and a member of the national IPv6 platform’s Expert Council.[3]
Davor Sostaric is a graduate of mathematics. Prior to his employment in public administration, he has been involved in academic and research areas related to computer sciences and networking. Today, he covers various fields regarding information society, the internet, information infrastructure, WSIS process, and internet governance.
