Pari Esfandiari is the President and Co-Founder of the Global TechnoPolitics Forum and has been a member of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC), representing Europe, since November 2020.

Career History[edit | edit source]

As the president of The Global TechnoPolitics Forum [1], Esfandiari guides the organization's mission to shape public debates and facilitates the global coordination of technology and geopolitics. She also serves at the APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council [2]and is a member of the Action Council at the Atlantic Council’s GeoTech Center.[3]. She is also the founder and CEO at the Pario [4], an international technology investment and incubating company. Previously, she was a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. She has held leadership, advisory, and investment positions with organizations and corporations in China, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. She has been an entrepreneur, sustainability and communications executive, and Internet pioneer and has worked across industries, ranging from FinTech and e-commerce to sustainability and smart cities.

Esfandiari is a member of the ALAC.

Esfandiari has a doctorate from Oxford Brookes University in sustainable business.[5]

Publications[edit | edit source]

Esfandiari's latest publication, "Data: Governance and Geopolitics," offers policymakers a comprehensive understanding of the complexity of Internet governance issues.[6]

Awards[edit | edit source]

One of Esfandiari's social enterprises was showcased by UNESCO and supported by the Google Foundation. One of her articles was nominated for the National Magazine Award.
