中文这一古老的语言正日益成为世界上最流行的语言之一。大量非中文使用者正在世界各地学习中文。中国每年向境外输出大约5000名中文教师。随着中国经济的快速增长及电子商务在全球华人社区的风靡，一个专注于电子商务的中文国际化顶级域名必然应运而生。
