.citi is a Brand TLD being proposed in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The applicant is Citigroup Inc.[1]
Citigroup filed several comments with ICANN, claiming that the .citi TLD is not confusingly similar to .city, which has three applications. In the past, however, Citigroup has won several UDRP cases related to the similarity of their trademarks and domain names using "city."[2]
