On August 10, 2015, in spite of numerous attempts at filings for cancellation of the .ECO trademark, the United States Patent and Trademark office determined the .ECO trademark registration has met all registration requirements to be acknowledged as an Incontestable trademark - Section 15 of the Trademark Act, 15 U.S.C. §1065.
