.supersport is a Brand TLD being proposed in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The applicant is SuperSport International Holdings Limited.[1] In June 2013, it was announced that the application had failed IE due to its financial evaluation; the application is eligible for extended evaluation.[2]

The following is excerpted from the applicant's response to question #18:
"SuperSport International Holdings Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of MultiChoice South Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“MultiChoice”). MultiChoice started as the subscriber management arm of M-Net, the analogue Pay-TV channel. Today it is the leading multichannel digital satellite television operator across the African continent.
