Alexander Schubert was the first person to propose the idea of the .gay TLD to ICANN in June, 2009. [1] He was also a founder of the .berlin initiative, along with Dirk Krischenowski.[2]

- Alexander has a masters degree in Aviation and Space Engineering. [3]
Career History
- Though Alexander had been in the domain name industry since 1997, he became a full time domain consultant in the year 2000
- He and Dirk Krischenowski initiated the campaign of launching .berlin in 2005.
- He is the CEO of Cyberinvest Group SIA, a latvian based company that develops parked domainnames into businesses
