Career History

He was previously a Member of the Board of CENTR, having served as Chair from 2006 to 2010. From 2001 to 2010, he was Director of the .pl registry, NASK.[2] He was also acting as a Member of ICANN's Incident Response Working Group, and has been a part of ISOC Poland since 2000.

Bartosiewicz served as Head of Delegation of the Polish Government to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Chairman and Rapporteur of the ITU-T Study Group from 2005 to 2009. He was also a Member of the Domain Arbitration Committee at the Polish Chamber of Informatics and Telecommunication (PIIT) from 2002 until 2003. He has a background in software development, and has been working for COMARCH since 1996, the third largest software house in Poland, where he acts as Executive Director and Head of ERP Systems Division. Andrzej also served as Managing Director and Member of the Board of BOT Inc., a U.S. startup with a Polish software house subsidiary.

Andrzej earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland.[4]
