Barbara Fraser is the Director of Innovation, Connected Energy Group, at Cisco Systems Inc. She has been with Cisco since September 1999, and previously worked in the CTO Consulting Engineering group directing strategic activities in security, mobility, identity, and other technology areas.[1][2]

- Barbara has been working in the Internet community for more than 20 years.
- She is one of the pioneers of the CERT Coordination center.
- She has been a part of the IETF since 1989.
- She also chaired the IPsec working group.
