Njeri Rionge, former ICANN director, founder of Wananchi Online, an ISP in East Africa and Ignite Consulting, a business consultancy firm expressed her desire to apply as ICANN CEO. Her application to the position was published by [[Sophia Bekele]], CEO of [[DCA|DotConnect Africa]].
