Christina Kalogeropoulou is PhD candidate at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, enrolled in the École doctorale de philosophie. Her academic pursuits are centered around applied ethics, with a specific emphasis on examining the impact of artificial intelligence on institutional structures.

Research and Academic Focus
Christina's research interests span the intersection of philosophy, technology, and ethics. She actively engages in the exploration of the philosophy of technology, digital ethics, and internet governance, aiming to understand the complexities of the contemporary "onlife" world.
Her doctoral research revolves around the ethical implications of artificial intelligence, particularly focusing on how AI influences institutional structures.
Professional Engagements
As a co-founder and board member of Digital Dialogues, a non-governmental organization committed to fostering digital democratic dialogue, Christina remains at the forefront of initiatives bridging the gap between technology and humanity. In her role as a member of the Executive Committee and Public Relations Manager at Digital World Summit Greece, a national regional initiative of the Internet Governance Forum network under the auspices of the United Nations in Greece, Christina plays a pivotal role in shaping ethical digital governance in her country. She also actively contributes to Homo Digitalis, the first digital rights Civil Society organization in Greece, dedicated to upholding human rights in the digital age.
Internet Governance and ICANN Participation
Christina actively engages in forums and events related to internet governance. Her participation in the NextGen Program at ICANN63, which took place in Barcelona, Spain, from 20 to 25 October 2018, where she presented on "Social Sciences & Academia as Active Participants in Digital Policy," marked a significant milestone.
Subsequently, in February 2019, she was selected for the Online Phase of the SEEDIG2019 Youth School as well as the physical event (declined), and in December 2019 she was selected to attend the first School on Internet Governance, Digital Policies and Innovation (SIDI), which took place in Bucharest, Romania.
She has attended various schools on Internet Governance as well as programming, aspiring to gain useful knowledge and bridge the gap between humanities and tech-related fields.
Awards and Contributions
Christina's MSc thesis, titled "On the philosophical and ethical issues of artificial intelligence: The case of Artificial Intelligence Act 2021," was a contribution to the field of philosophy and policy making.
In November 2022 during .eu Web Awards 2022, IGF Greece won in the category of the Best of IDNs with φορουμδιακυβερνησησδιαδικτυου-ελ.ευ.
Ongoing Initiatives
Since 2023, Christina remains an integral part of the Digital World Summit Greece, overseeing public relations and contributing to strategic decision-making. Simultaneously, her role as a co-founder and board member of Digital Dialogues emphasizes her commitment to fostering inclusive digital dialogues.
