Esther Dyson, is a former Chairman of the ICANN Board, and the former chairman of EDventure Holdings.[1] Currently she has holdings in a variety of online ventures and is a board member in some of these companies.[2] She is also actively involved in Air/Space 2.0, The Flight School workshop, and several non-profit foundations.She is a member of the NASA Advisory Council and Chairman of its Technology and Innovation Committee.[3]
She was appointed as one of ICANN's nine initial directors in October 1998. She served as an ICANN director until November, 2000.
