Gordon Dick is a Registry Services Specialist at Nominet working on their Registry products.  Nominet is a Registry Service Provider, an EBERO provider and the Registry Operator for .cymru, .wales and .UK top-level domains.

He joined Nominet in April 2016 to support the transition of the MMX top-level domains to Nominet’s RSP infrastructure and the launch of .blog.

Having previously managed the support team of a corporate registrar implemented a dot Brand top-level domain and the ICANN registrar accreditation and technical systems, he has extensive experience of the domain name industry for users, registrars and registry operators.

He takes an active interest in domain name policy issues and is a frequent ICANN meeting attendee.

Career History

Dick has been experienced in the industry starting from 1995. Prior to joining Nominet as staff, he was the CTO of Demys, an ICANN accredited corporate registrar. He was formerly the Non-Executive Director of Nominet, where he represented the UK registry on their Policy Advisory Board. He was appointed Deputy Chairman in 2008 and Interim Chair in 2010.
