===Holistic Review===
In 2021 the [[Third Accountability and Transparency Review]] recommended the creation of a [[ICANN Holistic Review|Holistic Review]] that would transform the organizational review process. Under the recommended model, SOs and ACs would move to "continuous improvement" review cycles, and the findings and outcomes of those improvement processes would be part of the input for a new holistic review, designed to capture the overall health of the organization as well as its constituent parts. The Board approved a pilot of the Holistic Review to be conducted in 2022.
