From 2012 to 2014, he was the President & Chief Executive Officer of [[Sudatel Telecom Group]],with operations in five African countries. From 2005 to 2013, he was the Vice-Chairman, Board of Directors of [[Electronic Banking Services Co. Ltd.]] (EBS). Before moving to the MENA region, Ihab spent seven years with [[Verizon]] Communications in Atlanta, Dallas, and Seattle and before that [[GE]] and [[IBM]] in New York. Ihab was the first administrator and manager of the [[.sd]] [[ccTLD]] chosen by [[IANA]]. He managed [[.sd]] from 1997 to 2002.
