Karel is an attorney at law. He is Manager, Legal and Enforcement at the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. He is also a substantive post as a Senior State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago. He was Head of Legal at the National ICT Company of Trinidad and Tobago from 2011 to 2013.
