Karel Douglas is member of the Govermental Advisory Committee (GAC) as a representative for Trinidad and Tobago. He has also been an ICANN Fellow .[1]

He was an ICANN Fellow in 2013 at ICANN 49 in Singapore , at ICANN 54 in Dublin and ICANN 50 in London.

He was also a member of the NCSG and actively involved in NCUC.

He was also Licensing Specialist and acted as Legal Adviser at the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) from 2005 to 2008.[2]

Education

Karel has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London (LLB) and the Legal Certficate from the University of the West Indies (LEC). He has a Masters of Law in Information Technology and Telecommunications (LLM) from the University of Strathcylde.[2]
